🌍 Soil Type: Well-draining, fertile soil. Slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soil (pH of 6.1–7.5) is ideal. A potting mix or soil enriched with compost works best.
💧 Watering: Consistent watering is crucial. Water deeply, but ensure the soil drains well to avoid root rot. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
Seed Depth: Sow seeds about 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) deep in your soil or seed-starting mix.
Optimal Temperature: Maintain a soil temperature of 21°C (70°F) or higher for germination.
Sowing Time: Aim to sow your seeds 14 days before your last expected frost date.
Germination: Yubari King melon seeds typically take 7–14 days to germinate. Keep the soil consistently moist during this time.
Once your seeds have sprouted and the seedlings are ready for transplanting, follow these care tips to ensure healthy growth:
Watering: Water your plants regularly, but ensure that the soil drains well. The ideal watering schedule is every other day.
Fertilizing: Use a balanced fertilizer or compost every few weeks. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers to prevent excessive leaf growth.
Pruning: Remove dead or damaged leaves to direct the plant's energy into fruit production.
Yubari King melons require hand-pollination to ensure the best fruit quality. Here's how to pollinate:
Male Flowers: These bloom first. Use a small brush or your finger to collect pollen from the male flowers.
Female Flowers: Once the female flowers appear, transfer the pollen to them.
Melon Selection: Keep only 1–2 melons per vine to ensure larger, sweeter fruit.
After approximately 105 days of growth, your melons will be ready for harvest. Follow these signs to determine ripeness:
The stem of the melon should be dry and strong.
The bottom of the melon should feel slightly soft, indicating ripeness.
The melon should feel heavier than it looks due to its high water content.
A sweet, fruity aroma should be detectable when you’re close to the melon.
Location: Ensure your plants receive full sun (6–8 hours daily) for maximum sweetness and growth. 🌞
Spacing: Space seeds or seedlings at least 1.89 feet (58 cm) apart to allow for proper growth.
Tama Fuki: Use cotton gloves to rub the melons gently a few times a week. This technique, known as Tama Fuki, helps increase sweetness and improve the melon's flavor.

Cash on delivery is NOT available.
Always provide a valid mobile number with country code when ordering (e.g., +365 456 7686 576).
Do not order to P.O. Boxes, or if you cannot be home to sign for the package, parcels cannot be left with neighbors.
If a package sent to a P.O. Box is lost or undelivered, no refund will be issued.

📦 Lost, Returned & Reshipping Packages
Brazil & Mexico Customers: We cannot refund packages lost or destroyed by customs.
If your package is returned, we will refund only the product cost — shipping costs are non-refundable.
