🌿 IMale Bamboo Seeds (Dendrocalamus strictus), also known as Calcutta Bamboo or Solid Bamboo, is a giant bamboo species that can reach up to 60 feet tall. The culms have a maximum diameter of 5 inches, with some of the lower parts being solid. Calcutta Bamboo features strong, grey-green, slightly rough culms and small, light green, furry leaves. It grows in a tight clump and is highly drought-tolerant once established. Male Bamboo is non-invasive and an excellent choice for landscaping or construction, especially since it is the only bamboo timber that, once cured, can be nailed without cracking. This makes it a perfect material for bamboo furniture.
