Kiwano Seeds (Cucumis metuliferus) grow best in warm climates with full sunlight. The plant prefers fertile, well drained soil and regular watering during the growing season.
Kiwano is a tropical plant and does not tolerate frost. Temperatures below 5°C can damage young plants. In cooler climates the vine can be grown in greenhouses or protected garden areas.
Warm temperatures between 20°C and 30°C provide ideal conditions for growth and fruit production.
